    SxSw Hitlist

    Since 1987 bands have been migrating to Austin, Texas for the annual South by Southwest showcase music festival. Almost all of the 1000 unsigned bands playing at the festival contribute a free song for the SxSw music sampler each year.

    I downloaded the 2010 sampler and sifted through the 3.5 gigabytes of music while I was digging. I’ve collected my favorite tunes out of the 2010 sampler into a playlist. Anyway, these are just my favorite jams out of the bunch. Maybe you can find a few gems that I missed in the sampler. I hope you find a couple of new songs that you like on my SxSw Hitlist.

    ^The 2nd half of the song makes up for the 1st half of the song. The good stuff starts around the 3:00 mark.
